As members of the fraternity/sorority community, Alpha Delta Pi is proud to welcome those who want to enhance their college experience as part of something bigger. We select and maintain membership on the basis of scholarship, leadership, commitment, and service to the work of the sorority, the university, and the community. Alpha Delta Pi actively encourages a membership which represents a diverse population and does not discriminate in membership selection procedures. Come home to Alpha Delta Pi and find women who are true and loyal, just like our blue and white colors represent. ADPi sisters are leaders and visionaries. We are SGA senators, artists, student athletes, and scholars. We are committed to sisterhood, values and ethics, high academic standards, and social responsibility. We committed to those when we established the first secret society for collegiate women in 1851 at the first university chartered to grant degrees to women. We are committed to them still today.

Hello everyone! The Theta Chi chapter of  Alpha Delta Pi at Charleston Southern University is seeking new women to join our sisterhood! If you love having lifelong friendships, giving back to your community, and learning life skills, then you will love Alpha Delta Pi! The sign up for recruitment will be in our Instagram bio on June 1st. 2024 (@csuadpi)! We will be holding recruitment on September 10th, 11th, and 13th! We truly cannot wait to meet you! 

Alpha Delta Pi was the very first sorority created in 1851. Our founders wanted us to be a philanthropic sorority, so we volunteer on campus, Ronald Mcdonald House Charities is our Philanthropy, we hold fundraisers for them, and volunteer around our community. We meet once a week as a chapter to discuss the different opportunities and events that we have planned! We also have 12 leadership roles that you can be apart of that will teach you life skills you will need for life. They are not mandatory, but it is great to be involved in the chapter and with your sisters! We have events such as Mallard Ball, Formals, Cornhole Tournaments, and so much more you can look forward to as an Alpha Delta Pi member. We tend to have 30-40 sisters, depending on how many girls come in each year! This year, we have a lot of fun and new things planned for recruitment that our potential new members can look forward to! Alpha Delta Pi extends beyond your college years because you have a lifelong sisterhood with your sisters.  ADPi isn’t just for four years, it’s for life! Having so many sisters around the world allows you to have connections all over, and it also provides great resumes for job applications. If you were to ask any of our sisters, they would say that going ADPi has been the best decision they’ve ever made! #BeTheFirst
